Welcome To
WORD BUILDERS
WHO WE ARE.
Word Builders is a multinational organization that aims to build a consortium to develop the employability skills of young individuals from underprivileged backgrounds. We believe that the schools in India, specifically those for the underprivileged, fall short to provide the kind of education that is necessary to take on life. Therefore, we at Word Builders aim to provide a skill-centric education, that is unconventional, yet truly helpful. Hence, after a number of meetings, late night brainstorming sessions and a few cups of coffee, we at Word Builders have come up with 6 programs covering the entire spectrum of skills one would ever need, and to change the de-accelerated growth of the underprivileged, and give them a paper airplane at the speed of light that shoots them right up to the stars. Knowledge has the power to turn a down-sided world up, and we hope to make this a possibility for everyone.
THE PROBLEM
WE BELIEVE THAT THE REAL PROBLEM LIES, NOT IN EMPLOYMENT, BUT IN EMPLOYABILITY.
-
50 lakh students graduate per year in India, but more than 50% lack the basic employability skills
-
Majority of the students in grade 10 government schools are not able to converse well in English even at the level of grade 5 of most private schools.
-
Maximum people from the underprivileged section have never written an email before their first day of work.
One of the main promoters of the Poverty, and specifically the social gap in India pertains to the lack of good job opportunities for those belonging to the underprivileged backgrounds. This "dearth" of jobs is mainly due to the lack of soft skills in the people. It is, as if, a person has the words to transform the world, but does not have the voice box to do so. This crippling cycle is holding back so much potential.
THE SOLUTION
WE BELIEVE THAT EDUCATION NOT IN HELPS IN BUILDING WORDS, BUT WORLDS.
Keeping this problem in focus Word Builders is an organization that works to make these skills a possibility for all those who don't have them. Through our carefully created programs we aim to make a good career a possibility for those who did not find it in their reach.
